Understanding export paperwork and procedures
There is a lot of paperwork associated with exporting. Whenever you sell, ship, or deliver products overseas, paperwork is needed to document the process. It includes: sales documents, shipping documents, regulatory documents, compliance documents, and origin documents (which authenticate where the product was made). Following the links below can help you learn which documents are required, download document samples, plus learn about the Automated Export System (AES), pre-shipment inspections, and special documents required for wood packaging and agricultural products.
